Since when $1.00 (USD) ≈ ˆ0.81 (EUR) = 27 RUB ?
I thought that $1.00 = 65,86 RUB.
Cheap trick. Was going to buy that 20, but know I am buying 0. Great deal. |

So If you are in Russia, having 1$ allows you to buy around 2,5 D.
Being somewhere else it allows you to buy only 1 D.
Nowadays economy is so difficult that I can't comprehend it. |

Yes, I donated about 5 minutes before it changed.
However, this option seems to be only for the paypal up top. If you try going through paypal in Xsolla - The exchange rate remains what it was before. So you could try that. |

For a player on the Russian server to get the art, they must donate 500 rubles. This is equivalent to $7.35 USD. (Ironically, they are complaining that it is extremely priced compared to the Snakes Ring last year which could be earned for 50 Rubles). Whereas on the .com server using Paypal we would have to donate 20 USD which is equivalent to 1360 rubles.
It is understandable that the admin should change the price of diamonds, especially as the ruble slid 10% yesterday. Perhaps if they anchored it at 0.50 USD per diamond, which is .4c more than the previous available donation rate and 0.10c more than the current Rub/USD rate - It wouldn't be so bad. Then you have a stable rate at which you can buy diamonds which is still fairly priced in comparison with .RU. If the ruble were to recover, then they could revert it back to the floating adjustments.
From my point of view I would buy diamonds for premium - so 20 a month. At 10 USD a month, that is not a bad price. At 20 USD, it is not great.
I suppose we have to consider that the Ruble is unstable and the administration still need donations to run the servers etc. While I would still make an occasional donation at the $1 USD rate, I would be more inclined if it were fixed at 0.50 or 0.55 USD. |
I tried donate truth XSolla (my bank direct gateway - down option) and it shows me something about 0.45USD/Diamont (which is rate u mentioned above).
Paypal link (first) is only spoiled by fixed exchange rate... |

XSolla does not work for me, because I chose not to open an account through them.
I noticed the last time they offered a deal through paypal the exchange rate changed to 1/1 also but was back to normal the next day. So maybe just wait it out or just donate enough to get special sword, it is really worth it :) |
