What profit can you do by selling such amounts of obsidian swords? Is it just another way to sell resources at a reasonable price? |

Despite what latviesu lords said you usually don't profit from selling the weapon.
A lot of times, the production facilities are not always open for enrollment because there's not enough gold in the facility to pay you.
Why's that? Because there's more people enrolling there due to highest wages but not enough people buying what is being made.
So what's the point of buying all these obsidian swords? Well he buys the sword from the facility so that it now has enough gold to pay him for enrollment.
Not only does he get to enroll now, he can sell to the facility steel and obsidian which he probably buys at bulk for profit too.
Then you look at the price he is selling the obsidian swords at and wonder, why is it less than what he bought it for? Isn't he losing money by doing this?
Well that's because the LG scaling (LG level 11 = 3x210 = 630 vs. mining facility 3x160=480) more than makes up for the difference of almost 150 gold per enroll depending on where you enroll. On top of the gold he makes from selling the resources steel and obsidian, this way of enrolling is much more efficient. |
| In addition to all of the above, that player is most likely buying those obsidian swords from his clan's mine, so his clan gets paid more gold at the end of the day because more people will enroll in that facility. |
