I know this is a stupid question because the admin have put a lot of effort into balancing factions but any ideas for lev 5-10? reasons? i feel demons, elves and necros r the most interesting choices now...

there is no best faction. its all a matter of how you play: how you upgrade, how you spend money, your strategy in battle, everything. |

In general they are all balanced, especially for PvP.
But some can be better than others at certain levels for more specific battles. So my answer is they are all equal if you just ask in general but if you ask for an specific creature HG/MG or event, then some may be stronger than others. |

First of all each faction tends to be better against another faction and do poorly against another. So there is no faction that can win against all others at a specific level.
Second, it's very important to have good hero stats (high faction level, good LG and so on). At lower levels to have +2 attack and +2 defense more then your enemy, can win you the battle. Off course the battle strategy and luck (luck + morale) counts too.
Third, you should play the faction you like most. Because in the end this game should be for the fun of playing it and not just for winning ;) |

i guess charmer/normal elf do quite good in pvp and normal elves r awesome in hunts |
| Well, on my opinion the most interesting fraction in this game is DE. They`re good in a pvp - fast attack, short & dinamical fights against every another fraction. And in a pve DE feels comfortable till can train shrews. |
| In what way you are defining the best? There are a lot of different situation that you have to consider...Best..So i suggest you play a bit all of the faction before you choose one of them as your main faction |
I see that your LG is only lvl1 for a combat lvl7. I suggest you to enroll more to generate more income to try out many factions.
Look through replays of higher levels to deem which faction you like most then try it out at lower levels if it feels comfortable. Lower level castles are cheap and you should be able to afford 4-5 castles to lvl8 if you have decent LG to back you up.
In the end, there's nothing to lose as the experience of other factions will help you tremendously when fighting against them |
