| It would be nice to hear some comments about the tutor program. I liked the idea very much, but it has been very quiet since the introduction. Any commies with experience from the tutor program? |

the Program is still under my responsability (perhaps MrBattleControl will take over it now that he's Deputy), but i'm not home right now (i have access to the sheets in my desktop at home). i will process your applications when i get back home, so starting this weekend.
speaking generally about the Program, we have assigned about 10 tutors. i haven't got much feedback but i can certainly make some inquiries (again, when i get back home). if there's interest, i can make a report and make it public here. |

I also applied to the tutor program and my week point was to earn "Gold". I was tutored by"vicky666" . all the things he told me was very helpful. i may be still low on gold (as i go lazy sometimes :-p) but it all helped.
well atleast i never run out of gold now
Things like these should be done on regular basis, and with lots of people involved.
lordkushu and vicky also helped me in doing surviligs battles which were new to me at that time (army setup, which arts to take, faction resistance and all those stuff)

That would be nice. In some cases I think tutors can make the difference between staying in the game or quitting for some of the newcomers. |

Preliminary Report on the "Tutor Program"
Interest in the Program from the "Census":
Prospective Tutors: 37
Prospective Tutees: 20 (+41 experienced players looking for help with specific game areas)
On implementation of the Program:
Applied Tutors: 18
Applied Tutees: 11 (+7 in the last week)
Pairings efectively assigned:
Assigned Tutors: 5
Assigned Tutees: 5
Evaluation:
As expected, numbers of Tutors/Tutees decreased as the Program advanced in its various stages.
Of the "Applied Tutees", 6 submitted the form but failed to respond to any private messages, so they had no Tutors assigned. The other 5 were paired with Tutors, and we have contacted all players to get feedback on the experience.
Regardless of the evaluation of these pairings, we had 7 more Tutee Applicants in the last week, which means the Program will continue. In the next few days the ICC will assign Tutors to these 7 Applicants, so expect news shortly.
