I really want an enchanted thief dagger. I cant decide if it is better to buy one that is pre enchanted off the market or if it is better to enchant my own. Im not very good at telling if an enchanted item is a good buy. I am not looking for a super expensive one. I'm thinking in the 30%-40% range. Maybe 5 enchants at 7% or 4 enchants at 8-9% but I dont know whats cheapest. Does anyone have an enchanting calculator of some sort that you can plug in the cost of MG elements that I can play with?? Any other tips would be useful as well.

We, go for it only after you enchant a sword.
Swords are considerably cheaper due to their higher durability.
5 at 7 % is much cheaper than 4 at 9 %

You get great offers here if you have the patience.
But it will take 2-3 weeks of scouting to find the best offer.
Hallion did create a tool, but i am not sure if it works anymore :/ |

| A long time ago I looked at a spread sheet that broke down enchanting. Dont know where I got it and I cant find it now. Thanks for the tips on the cheaper option. I wanted to get a dagger first because my MC depository always has good swords to rent for a reasonable price. During events they run low on daggers. |

| The tactics dagger is very interesting and quite a bit better than the thief dagger and has more durability. I decided against it because the repair cost was 40k instead of 8k. I want to be able to use it as much as possible with out draining my resources too much. Thanks for commenting on it. Im open to as any useful ideas or opinions . |
| If you're talking about the roca spreadsheet, you can probably still find it on the warriors guild forum. Or message STB, Ektoras or Antviolence about it, they made it. But I don't think they have updated it in the last few years. |
| depend how many dura you need. If full the best choise is enchant by yourself (mean send your dagger to enchant). You can find players who can return some gold for enchant f.e. 4x9%. But if you dont care about dura then buy from market |
| Thanks for all the opinions and help. Including all those who sent Pm's with info on how to calculate the value of enchants. I think Ill patiently watch the market to buy a dagger and then upgrade the enchants if needed. |
