The necro is too overpowered.
Ghost of past raises and also does damage to adjacent creatures. Great!
I think not a very difficult event...lost one due to partners mistake...and that was my second battle but fun and easy but 12 a day is too much of arts expenditure...
WEll for me the challenge has gone,not beause it is too easy, just economics of the set up.

With the time I have per day and 12 battles, plus recent events I will severely struggle to do all the battles. Which I want to do as really good fsp.

So solution, do the minimal increase in difficulty ie it should take me 2 battles before I try a level 6, even if I could beat it earlier. Why - wel much freater chance of completing battle in 10 mins so can do back to back ones without problems,maximse time input. Can do in the minimum allowed arts, therefore saving money. The negative is the challenge of designing a team and that strategic element which I like. However, with around 220 fsp to be gained if I can do them all, not to mentino armaments etc, the benefit of doing more battles and guaranteeing wins (so no recovery time as well) was greater than thedesire to try and reach the highest level I could. I wonder how many other people find themselves in a similar position. Stll nice event as PoT always are. :)
Wow, level 10 gave only 24 crystals, it used to be 71 crystals, so it's 1/3th of before. And then they up the battles from 7 to 12, so instead of playing and having fun it has become more like a job now just to be able to complete an event. And from the lack of posts here about the event, it shows how succesfull this one is.
So, in short, the admins crancked up the difficulty, a lot of people even lost level 1 right from the getgo. The PoT plays with the new AI system and the crystals got devided by three. Also 12 matches a day to make it more time consuming. So you get less for more effort and time. I guess the admins are really putting an effort to kill this game off. And it shows as well, on a normal fun event it used to be well over 10k online, due to unrealistic challenges in events it dropped to 8k, now on this one I can hardly see 7k.
edit - typo, I meant 25 battles before I try level 6!
You know guys, that you dont have to do all 12 battles per day? Not developer, but you do it as job for yourself. Or is there someone, who force you play it?
It isnt that tough :/ I think i can safely jump to level 10 when i have played aroudn 10-12 battles
Yeah the battles are not that hard.
But it only get insane when you get two necro opponents and that too at a high cloud level.

The battles were hard on first day as usual in events, lots of people even lost level 1 from the getgo. Next day it was made easier, probably after tons of compaining. But I'm doing this one as MilesTeg, but from level 5 and onward, other than that I stopped caring and it seems I'm not the only one. Used to be lot's of posts during event, like info about ammount of crystals etc. Now there is practicly a post.
Alright so a better might recruit setup to face lvl 8 - 10 with 400 crysrals approx..

I have 1030 and I am playing for fsp only
Low levels 1-10 will give me almost 50 fights...then will go higher but may not because it will become too difficult...
Only necros are tough rest you can win easily
Recruit shaman,sky shaman or goblins warlord to delay those necro shooters and bring some gremins for a bait at least 200 plus to survive more with melee unit.For melee take swordsmen,bears and as for you partner ask him to take mg 1 to mass rapid and bless bears+swords :).Only one of you take gremins for a bait and your partner can take full melee units without shooter
And bring some druids to cast stoneskin on swords and bears:)

I mean just that, no archers, no casters, just two types of slow melee units (for example, one player joined with just Swordsmen + Crusaders, other player joined just with Tamed minotaurs + Minotaur soldiers). :)

How hard can it be to get a normal army and have easy wins?
I'm not talking about records, when first battle is lvl 5 then go higher etc., for those fights need a very good partner and be in full arts.

And I moan when my ally only recruits fast units or range and gets shot in one turn before he could kill anything. In 2v2, your build depends a lot on what is a good ally to you.

You should not recruit ONLY range units (enemy casts mass confusion and you are useless).
Fast and strong units are always good.

The key strategy in this event is to buy a useful army at a good price.
I see that some players clearly waste the crystals on buying one big stack and then split it, while instead they should buy two different stacks and overall it would be a lot more army.
For example, what's the point to buy 400 farmers then split them into two stacks 200 + 200? (yes, I've seen several such players)
Instead, one stack should be Farmers and the other stack should be Brutes or Recruits (if you going for that type of army). These are slow and definitely not worth taking, but at least it would be much better army than farmers + farmers.
Splits like 399+1 is an option for taking retal etc., but 200+200 is the worst split since a lot of crystals was wasted for getting that large stack of 400.
