I though they supposed to never move from their location unless they move itself.

Actually, you can't displace them until they move themselves.
Once they move, thay can be displaced. |
Sounds like a pretty pointless ability then, they can be moved by ogres, bears or even rangers then.
Guess it might have something to do with harpoon, they cannot be harpooned before first turn. |
On the Heroes V game, they are stronger and it seems they were nerfed here. On Heroes V, the hold ground is valid until they move themselves (like Bheem said). But they also had another great skill: defensive stance. While they remains standing on their starting position, they get a +5 defense bonus. Would be very good if they had this skill on LWM too, but well... |
