Yes, there have been a couple of changes to the local rules of several of the forum sections to bring our local rules in line with those of the Russian server. A couple of the changes are fairly significant, so ensure you check out the local rules again before posting.
For example, Local rules in the Clan forum mean that you may now post as frequent as you like, however, the content may not be spam. (As opposed to the former rule which was once in the 24 hours).
8. Do not flood topics with irrelevant comments or try to ‘up’ them. Any post devoid of useful meaning is considered an ‘up.’
That means no more pointless + in the clan threads.
A very specific couple of rules in the OGF include;
1. Never discuss ANY other online games or projects, with the only exceptions being Lineage, World of Warcraft and Dota 2. Do not post links to any online games or projects.
and
5. Considering heightened political tensions worldwide, politics discussions of any kind are off limits.
Aside from those couple of specific rules, I don't think too much will be different, a lot of the changes are further clarifications / new wording of past rules we have had. |

That comes from Q&H. Understand that we have always had a rule similar to that in Q&H and that those type of comments are not generally welcome in that section. On balance, most players in Q&H are respectful to question answers so it has never really been an issue.

Might not be such a bad thing. It may encourage players to critically evaluate why we might or might not need a change rather than just throwing their support in there. |

That would make sense if there actually is someone to read the messages (or the thing you call critical evaluation). My point is: it is hard to believe that writing explanation for your support is a good use of time when we are being ignored to the extent where a long event like POT gets over with no announcement. I think using + or - is an effective way to show support without having to use words that may or may not make any difference. |
