I am a dwarf planning to build up a new castle , I either wanna build elf or wizard.
I need advice to pick up the right faction to enjoy the most , I like charmer elf as well as Bw , both are really strong , But which is more enjoyable to play?
Other faction suggestions are also welcomed but don't suggest Knight , barb or necro. | Battlewise is kind of fun to play with(personal experience) since there are many ways you can play the faction : hybrid, full might and full magic.
the cons are the main troops are kind of soft(grem. wrecker and battlemagi) also confusion screws you up | I haven't played high levels with wizard, but it is definitely fun to play. As said in #2, you can go mage, might, hybrid, holy, nature (phantoms etc., though not many use it).
With wizard there'll be just one catch - You won't be able to perform too good in PvE battles like ST, hunts, TG etc.
But if you're going only PvPs, wizard is really fun to play.

Think also about Tribal or Demon. Both are very interesting factions with quite unique (tactical challenging) playing styles and both are not that dependent of faction level.
Since Tribal hasn't got alternate faction yet, it's a bit more limited, but still much fun to me and very strong in many situations. It has very strong troops and spells, but you have to think twice, what you do, it's definetly not a no-brainer.
Same for Demon: It offers many (many!) different builds like pure magic, hellfire, darkness, pure might, etc. pp. I played demon with my last character and found it very enjoyable. But this faction too is challenging sometimes tacticwise.
I think elf is a bit boring, even with the possibility of alternate faction. But maybe that's a matter of the mass of elfs you meet on this server. Maybe elf players will hate me now, but I take this faction as pretty easy to play. But ok, if you want this, take elf.
I played also wizard, but magic one sucks in many situations or is very boring to play (run with gargs and cast most of times). BW wizard seems to be very strong and interesting though, but never played it.
In the end it totally depends on your favoured playing style and you won't get a definite answer here.
I would advise you to watch a few battles of good demon, tribal and wizard players and then make your choice. Good luck with your decision, castles are expensive, better think twice. :)
