Author | AP review before Battle /Hunt/Duel Join |
In forgetfulness / laziness / negligence, many a player doesn't check AP before joining a battle - resulting in doing simple Easy hunts with Max AP or sometime joining ST with min AP..
How about a simple AP reminder - You are wearing " " AP in hunt/duel/battle pages just below the battle
-
or
- better a Review POP-UP for AP and talents -(similar to one before MG quest)
You are wearing " " AP and your talents are ------. Are you sure?
in the hunt/duel/battle pages.
( For people that say this will be annoying, it should be accompanied by a battle review checkbox in personal settings - so that it can be turned off)
It wont be difficult to implement , will be useful in my opinion. |
+1 Would be very useful esp. during events where most of us are on full arts the whole time |

I havent joined a Hunt in Full AP by mistake yet, but why not, extra options are always good. |

I have :(

A script could probably be created fairly easily for this, so if you guys know anyone who creates scripts, then that'd be something to suggest to them.
This however would save me some gold when I'm tired, or just being silly :P |

Just now joined a defense in Min AP T_T |

There is enough space on top of GroupBattle / Defense pages to add a line "you are currently wearing xxx AP". Good idea. |
Bump :)
I think it can be implemented easily ^^ Hoping admins notice this. |
I did not the mechanic proporsal per say, it could be very annoying.
Instead I think a minimum/maximum ap set or an specific set save/load system for each specific battle category would be a better route.
This system could either not allow you do a hunt if you're wearing too much ap, or would not allow to participate into a GB with min ap.
Or the system will simply automatically equip whatever set you've saved for each category.
So, -1 for the exactly mechanics here, it's annoying in practice.
+1 for the overall idea. |

the standard of too much or too low is differ from each player, let them decide themselves. reminder is enough, dont make forceful system like that
+1 for crazyfroggy idea
-1 for Angel of death |

That's the entire point of what I just said, be abled to set a personal AP rules for each type of battle for each player, completely individual, instead of being spammed by annoying reminders. |
Also worth to mention that this 'reminder' will come with a widow which every time will require to click on 'accept' or 'decline.' Won't be easy to manually configurate it, so the game would or not allow the player to do something, based on his own preferences? (configuration)
That way, it will definitelly speed things up, without a requeriment of clicking 'yes' or 'no.' |
for Angel of Death:
As I said in first post - There's a choice here.
It could be a pop-up reminder - which could be disabled from the personal settings..
OR
It could simply be plain visible text that appears on top of your hunt or battle or defense joining window.
Example: When you dont have enough AP and go to the Duel joining page- there is a text that appears on the top - You don't have enough AP
Similar to that there will be a text(in case this is implemented ofcourse) - "You are wearing 30 AP. "
Reminding me how much AP im wearing is the crux of my idea.
Your idea on the other hand forces player to join hunt/battle only with certain AP. if suppose I want to do hunt with max AP , it wont permit me to do that. So your idea wont be plausible,in my opinion. |
Which I was saying exclusively about the second option, the spamming pop up instance.

Not at all, it would allow each player to set a minimal/maximum ap for each type of battle, so for instance, I could set hunter battles for a minimal of 9 AP and a maximum of 13 AP, anything below or above than that, won't be possible for hunt battles especifically. TG, MG, Duel, GB, CG, Events, Tournament or any kind of battle type, would have an individual min/max AP requeriment, to be placed individually. If a person doesn't want to bother with an specific battle the default resolution would be free to do as please. |
Just add an option to select AP range. Problem solved. |
