Hi
Related to enchants topic: https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=2409352
It says that enchanted jewels have no use for might user.
But I thought that jewelry would also pierce the enchants of armor. So then enchanted jewelry would be of use. Can anyone confirm?
Lets say 2 heroes have each 3 max enchants for earth damage for armor, weapons and 3 max enchants for
weapon: 3 x 12% = 31.85% extra damage
armor: 3 x 24% = 56.10% defence against magic
jewelry: 3 x 36% pierce = 73.79 pierce trough resistances
If you pierce 73.79 of the magic resistance you would get
31.85*(1-(56.10*(1-73.79)) as 27.17% extra damage? |

It does... when you attack with magical damage.
Whereas the weapon enchants are applied when you do physical damage. |
The ONLY reason to wear Element (Water/Fire Etc) Enchants in Armor clothings is the enemy having Enchants in Sword n Bows or using Chaos/Nature Magics. |
Ok thanks. I thought enchants added elemental damage. If it is physical damage jewelry has no effect.
Thanks |
