AuthorWater damage vs immunity
The "cold blade" talent under offense tree says "Commanded troops deal 10% water elemental damage upon attacks". (Similar abilities comes from Enchanted Weapons and the premium Sword of Cold.)

Let's say an attack will do 100 physical damage, is it going to be 110 or 100 against Enchanted Gargoyles, Black Dragons?

A further question: for Lodestone Golems, is there a 5 hit points healing? (heal half of the prevented elemental damage)

Thanks

I think it'll be 100 Damage, since Elemental Damage scaling off Psychical Damage is considered 'Magic'.

Yes, they'll heal by 5 Damage but will still receive the 100 Psychical Damage (If we dont take into account Defence etc).

Someone correct me if Im wrong, not sure there.
Except if you are using enchanted jewels :)

Yes, they'll heal by 5 Damage

Hmm I doubt that, I think since it's not magic they would receive 100 damage but not heal...

will be 110 dmg

nope

If you are not sure you can check in hunt records where top players using enchantments f.e. water enchant, Lodestone golems are healing only if you use magic dmg

"Commanded troops deal 10% water elemental damage upon attacks" it is still physical dmg
i was speaking about all immune foes with rings.
case of those golem, thell restore from from any kinds of chaos (elemental) damages. magic punch then.

enchanted jewels will reduice the proof from opponent like gargoyles, enchanted gargs and so on... sort of pierce for physical damages

So many topics about cold blade and still people are confused. Maybe it should be added to FAQ list haha.
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
