2) Every faction is "cool", it depends on which suit your style more. Like elf would be super quick and most players choose them as they are easy to play. If you're for the magic type, wizard or DE (chaos) and demon are just as great.
3) What about you leveling up? You'll still be playing as usual but upon reaching certain levels, you'll get more tier/recruit count. You can look at your castle to see what troops are unlocked at which level and the respective level up bonuses here:

4) Nope, they shoot and use mallets to hit.
5) It's too early to say how to play well, etc as you're just level 1 (going into 2) and just add everything into attack parameter. By the way, it may be best to invest some more time in your LG and HG as although most players would say to disregard it as it's just a game, play for fun,etc. It is essential you must have good guild levels to be able to perform in higher on levels. | What is your mother tongue?
