Author | Priorities: Berserkers and Raise Dead |
This is something that bothers me a lot and would appreciate if someone helped me with it:
1. I often have a Stack of THIRTY ONE Dreadgods lying dead in the ground in the tile at the corner up-left where a corpse of FOUR Liches also were dead (Sorry for the English there, this doesnt sound too good, but I hope you get my meaning).
Anyway, the thing is that in my last Eofo I clicked the tile of the corpse of the 31 Dreadgods and it raised the 4 Liches instead.
And I had this happen TWICE in the same Eofo trying to raise the Vampires.
I thought it had as priority 'The Stack with higher total Hp' or something like that, but no... It raised the FOUR Liches twice.
2. There is very often this situation in which enemy Berserkers are in the position 5 tiles away of 2 different enemy targets, each one of them in a different direction but with different Hp, abilities, and everything. Totally different but at the same distance of the original position of the Berserkers.
-------))) The question is, for both cases, is there a priority (Total Hp of the Stack?), or its totally Random?
I ask since I had it happen a lot of times with no LOGIC outcome, like I mentioned in the Dreadgods and Liches case.
It would be very good to know in both cases, since in the first I wouldnt lose a turn raising a very small Stack, and in the second to get to know who will Berserkers hit in case they use Madness (In Eofos for instance it'd be awesome to know, since it involes hitting a person or another.
Thx in advance! |
vamps corpse will cover one tile as compared to 4 tiles for lich (3 non-overlapping tiles if you moved liches over vamps) and if you click on that one tile it should raise vampire becauseThe Stack with higher total Hp' should take priority. |

Q.6.18: Two undead creatures perished on one tile. Which one will be raised?
A: The creature that had more HP per unit at the moment of death. The number of creatures in stack does not matter. E.g.: Zombies (17 HP) and ghosts (8hp) perished on one tile. Zombies will be raised.
I've noticed quite often that you don't read many of the pinned/sticky threads. I am sure you will find that there is a lot of useful information in there. |

I always thought it was the total hp of stack as well. Please delete post 2. |
It would be good if there was a way to choose instead of one having automatic priority of raising over another just because of hp per unit. |

Yes! Like a message could pop up asking you who to Raise and you could selct one unit or the other.
And if not, just the one with higher TOTAL Hp, since right now there is no LOGIC.
Does anyone have any idea about the Berserker issue btw?
It would be useful to know the Madness behaviour better, since they are often at the same distance of two units in battles. |
You may say it's illogical or inconvenient, but it does force you to be more tatical about your unit placement. Many new necros learn from mistake not to have a stack of 1 zombie and their stack of ghosts die in the same tile.
Madness is supposedly random. As for as I know there has been no official announcement about it.
There is a fantastic search button at the bottom of the forums that you can try.

Yes, I have to say you are completely right there.
And thx everyone for the help! QATC. |
