I am trying to find a suitable set of arts for TG. I prefer to go in mid ap ~10-12.
Here are my options:
1. Sword of Retribution + Amulet of Luck + Shield of Glory
CPB: 179.66
Modifiers: +3 attack +5 defense +1 Luck
2. Sword of Retribution + Amulet of Luck + Defender Shield
CPB: 134.76
Modifiers: +3 attack +4 defense +1 Luck
3. Reprisal sword + Amulet of Luck + Defender Shield
CPB: ~103
Modifiers: +2 attack +4 defense +1 Luck
Which set is the best worth for gold? Also any other set recommended?
I mostly play as an Elf but will switch to Tribal after CL 7.. |

They are more suitable for hunts and MG. |
Why would you go for shield of glory when you can get a ring of ambition or galoshes of battle for cheaper yet more modifiers? If I were you I'd trade retribution for steel blade and get cheap junks along the line. steel blade and ring of ambition gives as much stat points than retribution sword but you're saving 15 gold per battle.
I still use that kind of arts for my TG set; added together it makes for a cheap yet efficient set.

As an elf he'll probably go luck with talents; it's better to stack one talent than get both morale and luck... Though I like more morale too; then I just stack morale. |
Why would you go for shield of glory
Because I looted 20/20 from Christmas vault :P
Steel Blade + Ring look good too. Although they are costlier than Reprisal sword but I get +1 attack by wearing them.

If you want easy mid-ap use the stuff you've looted from Christmas for TG imo. |
These items will break out, and you'll have to rebuy them.
If you're going with knight, then I would highly recommend morale over luck.
So Amulet of Bravery instead. However a faction like elf, could go very well with luck.
I would also recommend the defender shield, since it's a very cheap stat wise.
If you want to add more defense, the steel set has a low cost for it's stats as well.
If you want more attack, I would go with Sword of might.
Rings you do not necessary need it, they're usually 'over priced,' for what it really gives.
Bow/Cloak tends to be very situational factory to be rely with.
You could always calculate the cost per battle for each artefacts, then divide by the amount of stats that it will give, so you'll have a rougly cost per stat. |
Hmm..yes I have steel set in mind. Maybe I will try random sets and see what suits best.
