I don't get why my charm elf's lightning damage is so low here. When my spell power is 8, my zap to warlords outside the castle causes only 54 damages (40 damped by tribal spirit).
Even if the Tribal hero has the Barrier talent to block 20% of the damage, it means my full damage would still be only 67.5, way below the damage at any level of the lighting spell given in the Spells page.
Anything I miss here? |
| Being behind castle walls provides extra magic resistance - I guess its probably that - though I havenlt bothered to look at the battle too check .... |

their main faction maybe 10/11
but their other fsl maybe around 6/7
i say it 7 as 68*0.71=54 |

| Thank you all for the explanation. Then it does not sound like I have any chance winning this WG battle. One strike of 21 unicorns cannot kill 1 warlord and one lightning of my charmer can only take out 2 goblins. Nice odds! |

To be fair you probably had the wrong setup for a defensive tribal - you will never be able to stave off damage as much as them, yet had defensive talents, yet attack higher than def by 20ish points.
While I am no elf without some help from talents you would not do enough damage to reduce the tribal spirit enough to start doing some proper damage. He would always just grind you down.
