To go back to the "carrying" strategy of Lord Milesteg, it seems to be a very good strategy. The top guy (http://www.heroeswm.ru/pl_info.php?id=6638210) was carried by a teammate (http://www.heroeswm.ru/pl_info.php?id=6717904). If you look at their battle logs, you'll see that the top guy started with a battle on level 5, then immediately jumped to 10 and then continued at one battle per level (even skipping some) while partnering up with carry guy until he was out of battles and then teamed up with another strong teammate (which he carried then). The third guy is at place 10 (so probably was also carried by someone else), even the carry guy is in top 50 (at 41), despite doing 20+ battles on "low levels" to get strong.
Maybe next time a .com clan can produce the eventwinner? ;-) |
I would like some of these events to have partners assigned arbitrarily like in the auto tournaments. Obviously, I don't have a regular partner, teaming up each round is time consuming for me, that would speed it up. And make it more fair; I play cautiously since I have no idea whether my partner is just playing to accumulate victories or playing over his head, hoping for a good partner to balance the ticket. |
If you play only clanbattles you can easily find a partner who is willing to do multiple games in a row. It really speeds things up and you're sure your builds are compatible. |
for Lord Fosgeen:
Really depends on your timezone, I had an extremely hard time finding clan mates. |

Which timezone are you in? There is usually people hanging out in the guild Skype who wanted to do battles. |
Well I was mostly online when there were only 2k or so ppl online, so very few from our clan were online, and those who were either already had partners or were at different pot levels compared to me. |
