the dog, demon horse, and the boss hit very hard, the other is OK. I focus on one first? which one to fight first | not sure... i guess:
protect balista
first kill dogs, then horse, then boss | Very bad placement. You need to protect your shooters. You cannot protect shooters from blazing hounds, so shoot them down first. Then horse. Keep Stunning fiends and slow down its approach as much as you can. You can deal with it as later unless you decide to use bait to make it leap in your shooting range. Don't put any of your core units like wolves 8 tiles near the fiend otherwise its gg.
Keep an extra stack of 1 orc to take retal after fiends charge besides what you used to get it close. Although the best way would be to not let it leap before you have finished killing hounds and horse. | I would say to split with creatures that can go on one square to make more manouverable and avoid blazing hounds.
Your wolfies are the key - there job is to kill horses and fiend boss.
Bait the leap of the boss with a single unimportant stack, counter then hit with wolfies. I would say shooters to remove blazing hounds.
You do have the ranged advantage, and so long as you keep the ballista alive will whittle him down. So over zealous advancement should be avoided. You could consider simply blocking the hell horses with a single stack (which will also be bait for the leap of the fiend), then attacking from that point.
Good luck | u should have kept all orcs in the bottom most corner surrounded by goblin archers ( 1 in number)
and kept 1 goblin archer near wolves and ogrest to take retaliation away.
since the number of blazing hounds were too many, u didn't have a chance, but next time try splitting and covering your shooters |
