Sad news for Tamer darkelves.
Lizard chargers are now made very weak : -10 HP, -1 speed, -2 attack, -1 defense.

I think the word very weak is not true, they still pack a punch. the -1 speed is so when battle start they can't one shoot your unit with the +1 speed talent.
They got buffed with lizard charge recently, so really just more balanced now.

Woah, the "-1 to Speed" is a quite important thing to take into account.
They wont reach the enemy army anymore in first turn.

But yes, much deserved.
Still they are quite strong.
This is insane. There are countless battles which Tamers win thanks to Lizards clearing Tier 5,6,7 creatures in the first 2 turns.

Actually it is.
In MT all TDEs were winning because of early liz strike, now since they can't do so.. its balanced and not OP. Which is good, finally can win against TDE :)

On the other hand, this update kind of forces TDE players to choose innate swiftness talent everytime because tbh, 6 speed liz won't be effective and can be dodged easily.

The game has changed so long after the years.

It impresses me that now its not too hard to see ALL/Most of enemy troops have 7 Speed (Some even 8 easy).
Im talking about the newest Factions of course: Charmer Elves, Tribals, Dwarves... Even Dark Demons kind of, Lol.

I remember when the normal thing was to have 5-6 "Average" Speed in your army...
Probably because there were way way more Knights and Barbs than there are now (They moved to Tribals n Dwarves most).

Or maybe its just my impression, IDK.

yeah today ideal speed for core unit is 7-8.

6 or below can be forced to positioning themselves so they take the first hit and that will be fatal blow

I liked it more in low level. 4 5 speed on average made the game more strategic. Now anything can reach anything in 1 move and armies are more and more about range (charmer, fury barby, battlewise) that too really dumbs down strategical planing to sum up as who get more ini so that genies move before uni and battlemages move before goblin archers.


And yeah, charmer would really do with no more full speed 8 army, it s really boring gameplay when i loose half of my army before I get to move. No battle should be decided before I get to move, with the outcome based solely on setup.
On higher levels they can take swiftness + tactics, which still lets them hit the other side in the first turn. It comes at the cost of more interesting off talents, so not sure if it's worth it.
I guess I could easily said its bad or good or "Deserved" update But I am restraining myself till a Minor tournament.

But 1 thing is sure that its cheating to trick people to spend on de castle by giving some & later snatch it away.

You imply that they intentionally made Alt DE Slightly stronger/"Above the average" so that people would buy the Castle, thus to earn more?
That would be quite bad and sad if true, Tbh.

anyway it force them to take +1 speed talent every time like elfs
