| Can anyone suggest me a good way to save gold for thieves guild? I wanna go thieving but I am not good with saving gold. When I have a lot I usually waste it on something like a quick tourney.. I know its illegal to have an alt account that serves as a bank and buying elements is not a good idea because market prices arent constant. Any ideas? |
1. Sell all Arts in your Inventory that have some value.
2. Avoid "Luxuries" such as ABC (Coz I see you have an Unicorn, Im guessing you buy them?), Skilled Potion...
You can consider CG and QT "Luxuries" too, very expensive to play them.
3. Play only things that give you the cost of Arts back or even benefit (Hunts, MG) , or dont play and just AFK Enroll.
WGs can be tricky sometimes, so its up to you.
4. Of course avoid Roullette.

Well, unless you buy it with diamond (which is probably the best way to earn some gold as you can sell TGI in TG 5) you need a huge patience. You would probably have to avoid combats in full arts, mainly quick tourneys, CG battles or simply all the battles where you don't get back gold for your arts. For example Watchers guild battlesa re not a waste as you can get let's say 75-100% of arts cost back after succesful errand. Also if you are good enough, you can earn some gold in various events (or at least some nice part of gold that you would have invested to the event).
And so as you would mainly do hunts, hunts assists, MG, WG, by some time, for example 2-3 months you could have enough to buy TGI.
Also you can try to make some small profit in buyng some arts on the map and selling them on market. At least you can sell on map some resources which brings also small profit, enroll for wages above 200.... |
| Yeah the thing is, I know all this. I dont want to avoid all the pvp and stuff and I dont mind saving up even if it takes me half a year. I just wanna know if there is a way to have some kind of a bank where I can drop scraps in it and stuff. I do not do roulette and I sell all elements and arts. Unicorns were bought with real money. ABC is necesary because without it (mount) I cannot do mg, + I need faster hunts and mg. I also need laborers extra points and extra fsp. |

Depending on a country where you live, sometimes can be easier to save 0.50 ˆ/USD and buy TGI after 2 months of such saving than saving here 2k of gold per day ^_^
But seriously, if you want to save the gold, you just must to be very disciplined and maybe take some excel sheet controll over your gold or what to be sure that you are able to save at least those 2000 gold per day... |

You can do this:
You play your MG Quests and CG Battles (Since you say you dont wanna stop them) like you always do, and when you feel like you buy some Resources with your Golds (Mercuries, for instance).
When you gather some relevant quantity of Gold, you turn some of them into Mercuries. These Mercuries will be aimed at buying the TGI.
When you reach 1500, you will be able to buy the TGI (Easy to sell in market I guess, to turn them into Gold again).
... Since you are talking about some "Bank" thing to avoid using up all your Golds in some random madness.

You can save 2000-3000 Golds per day, and then use them all up in whatever Event or several CG Battles and get broke again :S
Honestly, if it wasnt because of the "Old Rules", I dont know how I would have a TGI now, I seriously find impossible to gather 500K Tbh...
In the Old Rules you could have a TGI with like 20K Golds :P
But that System had drowbacks... Many of them actually. |
