I recently made an investment in magical powder as I have been looking to start expanding trade wise and some basic resources I have.
If someone could guide toward what locations throughout would serve the best purposes with intent to sell magical powder, steel and nickels?
I have done my own traveling, but I would not not bend an ear toward a more seasoned appraisal of these nickel and diming ordeals... |
Lol such time of investment ain't worth it IMO.
You will get like what 30-40 gold profit per element? ( even less i believe )
I would rather prefer doing 1 extra enroll instead of such hard work by selling. |
90 gold in profits will be the exact amount I will profit from this misadventure. I have bought them out which entirely, right now is an all consuming passion to buy them right back... |
Yeah, also a lot of selling places are invaded by scripters who automaticly sell everything full, so you might not get a chance to sell. |
So your telling me the 30k in magic powder will never be able to be sold? |
Hello
You did a great job and can easily find places to sell, I once accidentally bought 100 steel and sold them within a couple days. :)
You can either travel a lot of find places that need it, or sit in wilderness as they have a lot of factories. :)
Keep an eye on the economics page, this is going by clicking on statistics on the map page.
You will do great, dont worry about what other people say. :) |
@Sir Meshy!
You have rescued me once more with your 'sound' logic principles! @@
To say thanks would be the least, but I assure you I had the sickest feeling for a moment there that I would not being able to get this payload off me before high noon...
This game has economics statistic displays which equal economic strategy can be implemented and that captivates me with how amazingly boring it is, but unscrupulously written with profits and margins detailed right before your eyes if only you take advantage of it... |
I have been trying to, started to study to try to understand the page but it's slow going... |
Does anyone know where? for selling magical powder '-'
I accidentally bought a lot so it's now up there... |
Yay. I sold "1"
I think I can get the hang of this...
11 more hours 57 minutes left of squinty-eyed watching to go... |
Looks like you need a good mount for this.
BOn VoyaGe. I tried to chase down a couple and they were already sold by the time 20 minutes later I finally arrived panting breathlessly as my excruciatingly slow 3min run through EACH kingdom prevents me from being an enterprising merchant with savvy skills for soirees with much wine and cocktails galore... |
Sit at a place that requires magical powder, somewhere like the wilderness |
a few ideas for you:
1) don't be in hurry, you'll sell it eventually. 13 MP aren't much, actually.
2) wait for an event to start. That's the moment where factories get assaulted and you can easily sell stuff when a shift starts (so look for those).
3) you could also buy an item yourself, sell magic powder for it, then sell in the market the item. Choose items that turn a lot, like weapons, and don't look for big profil when selling them - profit comes from the magic powder, and many players are too lazy to travel around, so they buy the items in the market if cheaper than artifact shop. |
Thanks I understand it's not a lot...
But it's all I have at the moment and it's very important to me. You Know?
Btw you said at the beg. of these events factories get assaulted by young warriors and warrioresses looking to....ahh I get it*....
Guyb, I'm sitting at a place "now" that has 3 workshops requiring it, it had 4 slots that were needed that attracted me, so now I find it and now I'm camping out as I see some potential...just looking to break even which will be absolutely funny to watch.
Now I don't understand you on #3 that much what do you mean by "sell magic powder for it"
So I buy the item myself and then give it it's required ingredients(magic powder), and then haul it off to the market wholesale? COrrect me as I know I surely not right. |
let's make an example.
This facility

is always lacking magic powder.
You can buy rings, and sell them in the market. Every 2 rings, you can sell one magic powder.
One ring is Worth 1086.
Actual price in market is 1100 (-1% = 1089)
you purchased your MP for 2074 gold, and will sell it for 2076. That means that if you sell your rings for 1097, you are still profitable (1 gold per ring).
And because shop price for the same ring from the shop is 1120, people will conveniently buy it from the market instead when they are too lazy to travel to a factory location.
Of course, this is the worse example, there are factories for RoD that buy MP at a higher price, so you can get 2, 3 or 4 golds out of each sale. Up to you to calculate and get the best profit out of it.
Also you can see for other artifacts, again, weapons sell quite better than the rest (second are rings, and just for the story, best of bests are usually defender shield and capes, but neither of those use magic powder) |
and always remember to wait that the factory has no vacancies before you start, or else somebody may enroll and remove some of your gold before you sell your MP. |
Guyb it sounds real legitimate imo |
