in lv17+, random pairs can be very strong cause most players in the tournament are causal players. it is not surprising for a present strong team lost to a random team. |
| hmm maybe, but i see match-ups with fl 10's and no resist who only do randoms cause nobody wants to team up with them, getting matched up against 2 fl 12 pre set teams at lvl 15 |

Isnt that fun , 2 set players killing every random or set team on their way and suddenly you get matchedup against them with a random partner , you dont know what kind of build ur partner has neither does he have any idea about you , more fun when u say Hi and he replies in a diffrent language and u know this day is gonna go bad and then u both start with bad moves and are hopeless about anything , and then !!! , your partner hits the enemy biggest stack creature with a lucky hit and take it out and u say "awesomeeee" and he replies " :D" , and now you both understand each other and you use the creature stack numbers to hint them about what to hit and go on to win the battle.
This is fun , i think we shouldnt ignore people who dont have resisitance build against other factions , rather ask them to use expert luck build as Luck balances the faction resistance strategy by some margin , actually by a big margin.

I ended up in a really good mix that someone may think was pre-arranged, though it wasn't.
If you enlist with a preset then leave, and immediately re enter as random match up are the numbers given the same or different. If they are more different than can be attributed to people leaving or joining in the time it took to switch around then they will not be joined. If however they are very similar/same numbers it suggests that what you say is true :(that's bad.. |
Hmn, actually I don't think that plan will work to suss it out, since you can see the number enlisted beforehand, which suggests it is all in one pot, though may not behind the scenes.
With regard to the original I am pretty confident that it does not matter when you sign up, your chances in no way changes whether you sign up 9 mins before hand or 15 seconds.
I am not sure if like with a 1vs1 it optimises to mean you do not face the same opponents, which could mean you are more likely to get booted if you have fought more battles already. Other than that it is just random and bad luck as someone had to go! |

I believe this is true, as i went in random, and got matched up against a team who has played about 5 battles together already. The possibility that they both went random after doing 5 battles together and get matched up with eachother is pretty small :P |

Pre-arranged teams also get higher rewards, since there are more random teams sharing the prize than there are preset teams... I got once got gold with random team but the goldies i got from that was something like 1/3 of what the preset gold winners got.
What this all means is that skip random and play with preset teams. |

| from past experience i was rejected if i was the last 1,2 or 3.so i thought it wass first come,first served.maybe they give priority to preset teams because it is harder for players to schedule those.on the other side maybe all teams were preset except me and the last player, so he dragged me out too or the 16th and 17th were preset so they had to leave one more out in random |
