Sorry for another thread. Need a bit of help on deciding what to wear for MT.
So I have decided wearing SoC, clover, no RoC(instead dragon eye rings), and light bow. For the shield slot, should I wear obsidian shield or flame dagger? |

Depends on your build and how effectively you tend to gain the shooting advantage or not. Flame dagger (as with SoC) have a significant advantage to shooters as it will add to their damage as well as melee troops. OF course if they tend to die before they shoot this advantage is lost.
So if for the majority of your time you find that you are forced to advance into them, go for shield, if you tend to be able to gain the shooting advantage and counter attack, then go for flame dagger (or feel that with the extra damage you may be able to gain this). |

Yeah not exactly sure how it'll turn out >.< I have very limited duel experience with elf... I saw one of last MT's gold winners wear flame dagger, but then again, his stats are better than mine, so I wonder if it's fine to copy him... |

Yup, my plan is to do so before starting the MT :)

More importantly for elves the ranged bonus by SoC's elemental damage bonus is crucial, so yes SoC is indeed better ^^

| Go for a flame dagger if you can afford it. It fits better with elf ethos, kill first before you are killed. |
In MT people tend to go defensive build, if you confindent that your ini is sufficient then you should go all out attack build as elf/charmer.
wear SoC, 2x DER, bow of light, Flame dagger. the elemental damage from SoC and dagger help a lot since they also benefit your ranged unit. and dont forget the settlement is crucial, always look at enemy battle log. goodluck :) |
