I guess/suppose somebody mentioned this before, since I honestly would be surprised if this wasnt suggested yet.
I ask for something like a "Leasing Market", where people put their items, and people "Pick" them for X time, (The guy/girl who puts the item, can adjust something like "2 hours of time per battle, or 1.5 hours per battle".
The item would instantly "Teleport" to the backpack of the guy/girl who requests the item for the time decided, and the amount of money would "Dissapear" from his pocket (Just like a totally normal Lease).
The thing I say this its because its SUCH AN AMOUNT OF WORK to:
Open the Leasing Forum, look for your item, click the guy/girl who has it, and then realize he is not connected (Specially for people who play in the night), and Facepalm.
... In the case he is connected, you gotta then type him an Email (Hope he speaks English, or hope Google Translate gets you a good Translation), then he will take 15 mins to answer (I understand people are not always in front of Computer, its totally normal), and tell you whether he has the item available or not (Maybe you did all the work to contact him, and the item is Leased to somebody else, nothing you can do about that...).
This idea I suggest would make things (When it comes to Leasing) WAY WAY faster.
Just look for the item (With "Filters" so you find it easier, like Swords, Shields, etc, like "Normal Market"), and click "Get/Pick Up/Whatever".
If the guy/girl who gets it doesnt use it, he gets a Refund (This is to Admins to decide, I wont say a number, up to them... But "50-75%" maybe? Since in the time the guy/girl gets it, soembody else could've use it)
I honestly think this would help people a lot, sometimes I wanna Lease (Or "Rent"? Sorry for the English, no idea) an item, but im just way to "Lazy" to look in the Forums, or open the Russian LWM/HWM in case an "English player/.Commer" doesnt have it.

I think what's stopping majority of people from leasing/renting stuff right now for normal arts is that it is too bothersome to have to deal with the whole process again and again for minimal profits. If its largely automated i.e. one-time listing which could allow multiple renters access dependent on availability then I can see it as easily pushing artifact shop leasing to obsolescence (if it wasn't already).

Yeah this seems to be a good point. Actually, I wish you'd help me understand why there should be lot limitations on leasing just like the ones we have on "for sale" OR "for auction" lots? | +1
how about making the service available for maybe 1 diamond/month for 10 arts?
