Above level 3 where min exp per hunt comes in, what combat provides the best fsp/exp? | generally at higher levels your best ratios come in the form of watchers guild and events. Thieving, survilurgs and commanders guild are all pretty reasonable as well. IT is probably better to think in terms of what has a rubbish ratio and just avoid those rather than aiming for the best ones. For these it is duels and group battles I would advise to avoid. Just build your character until you are able to sustainably do CG if you want some proper PvP experience.
However, the tactics of starting a character are really quite different to later on. This is in no small part due to the cost factor as well as increased benefit of normal guild development versus a specific faction.
To start with you will have a low labourers guild, you also get less of a gold reward from wins. The cost of full arts while less than higher levels, is not proportionally less than the gold reward - ie not only do you earn less gold through enrols to begin with but also have to spend proportionally more for higher battles. Similarly castle upgrades cost a greater proportion of the gold you get from levelling, with less time in between to have earned gold through enrols.
Consequently I would focus on balance in guilds, financial solvency and enjoyment to begin with and not worry too much about exp/fsp ratio. The +1 you will get from an extra HG guild for all factions is worth more than a +1 for one specific faction. As the gap from one faction level to the next increases and your LG level is sufficiently high to support full art battles, then think about optimising this ratio. A thief invite is a must if you really want to get anywhere in this game, so you must plan ahead for this from the start (unless you buy one with diamonds).
ie for the first bonus (+1 stat) from Mercenaries guild takes 120 wins, for the next +1 stat you need a further 480 wins, for the next one after this is another 900 wins. So getting to MG level 2 and 4 earlier on is doable and a sensible investment across the earlier levels, however a pain in the backside to get to Mg6, so you would probably wait till much later to get to this stage and do battles with better ratios later.
This is also because short of hitting your exp cap, the ratio you get from HG and MG is fixed on the difficulty of the task rather than the combat level you are on. Since you tend to get more experience later on doing the same MG task when level 8 compared to say level 16 may yield the same experience and faction points, however be comparatively a better ratio tfor the CL16 than the 8 as by this point it is less different to other battles they may do which generally give much mroe exp.
At the end of the day, don;t worry too much about it. Just play what you enjoy and try and enroll enough that you can afford it. At the beginning there is a lot more that you have to wait for as you cannot afford it, this improves a lot over time if you are sensible. | Thanks for the detailed response, much appreciated. | closed by Corey (2017-07-11 03:00:20) |
