Check out this guys battles, he's playing hunts with the same guy over and over abusing the fact that he's getting 0.1 hunters guild points for 1xp, I think they're both his accounts... |
| If they are both his accounts then yes, it is illegal. However, if the accounts belong to two different people then it is legal. |

But what is he gaining?
The exp/fsp is the same as any other hunt, and they are in absolute so small that gaining level will take ages.
Maybe is the other character (which is changing from time to time) that get the only advantage of having its stacks not increasing in number.. or not sure... are hunts stacks increased by the usual factor 1.3 if you get help in the hunt?

Addition:
The level 1 character can be the main character gaining all the guild bonus, while the others will be the alt character using the reference code to give the main all the bonus income |

Not sure about pumping... at the end the fsp/xp is the same, except for rounding variations.
It is true about the guild bonus, let's say 1 HG per ~20xp, so you reach 4500xp/(20xp/HG)=225 HG at level 3 (It should be ~120HG at lvl 3 if you just always take the less xp combats - experimented with a second char)
About the extra gold... not sure... probably negligible compared to the amount from enrolling over the long time that this is requiring (I thought that I was very nerd in engineering the max amount of hunts before lvl 3... but I was beaten 8-( )
Nevertheless, as soon as they are not multiple accounts of the same player or multiple players sharing the same ip address it is legal... isn't it? |

So basically this is a legal (you can agree with a friend, maybe in a reciprocal way) exploit to artificially rise the HG to 3 before reaching combat level 3.
You do the first 16 xp-cheapest hunts to reach HG 1 (and indeed he/she did), then you use this trick to arrive (with 44*10 combats!) to HG 2, then maybe you can also exchange role: since hunts stacks grow only when you fight alone (afaik), you can pass until you reach again your 17th xp-cheapest encounter, which will never grow further if you always ask for assistance.
Maybe the only point is that he/she can be sanctioned for staged combats, as the "assistance" that he/she provided is waiting at every turn |
