Author | Help needed for Adventure Guild battle |
Fellow Lords and Ladies, could you help me find a guide for Adventure guild battles?
At the middle difficulty I have specific trouble for the second quest "Amnitis Mysteries" final battle against the Elder Necromancer, whose ranged units killed 80% of my army in the first firing round.
I skipped all side battles because I was able to win the "Finding healer" final battle without doing them, in order to fight as few battles as possible to unlock the hero difficulty without wasting artifacts and experiences.
Is there any side battle for the second campaign I have to do to have a least a chance? If so, where?
Thanks |
you must win a battle which open a path to a monk who give you big stack of angels for last battle.
btw if you skip a battle you will get lower score at the end, so I don't see a point in doing that unless you are doing your first campaign to unlock 3rd difficulty (hero) level |
I don't remember if it was from a side battle or not... but you do get a huge stack of angels in the final battle right? I don't think it's possible to win without them. |
Generally as well there are a few battles in each adventure (treasure map ones for instance in the finding the healer one) which if you win well will loot something - this may be just 5 armaments, or it may be a licence. Therefore these particular 'side battles' while they make it take longer overall for those particular ones I think on average you probably will make your gold back on arts investment. |
Thank you guys, so if the Angels are in large numbers then it could mean a difference. The question then is where is the key battle? There are lots of optional battles all over the map.
Yes it's my first Campaign aiming to unlock Hero level, hence the newbie question and a desire to find a comprehensive Guide (Like A&D's great website). |
I cannot recall precisely and am not inclined to look too much (sorry, just being honest)
However, these are some links as to all the relevant battles as a wiz, which if you are inclined to can probably work out which are which from order and context. (I always do the treasure battles as late as possible so as to have picked up an advantages (like the crystals) before I do them

Which sets did you use for it? Full great temporal? ?
Also, if you do easy difficulty then medium, do you get extra points, or new score substitutes old one (but it's normally higher)??
Apparently it's per class per level, but I don't recall if also per difficulty. |
I used pirate set for classic wiz with a holy build, as battlewise I mostly used shop arts I think, but added in some extras when needed (ancient compass and charm for magic resistance for example).
Your score at the end is multiplied by the difficulty 0.8 for easy 1 for medium and 1.2 for hero. Your highest score for that subfaction is counted, irrespective of difficulty or level. You can repeat it and get a reward at the end for each new level or difficulty, but only the highest score from all levels will count. |
Many thanks Lord MilesTeg and good job on these battles!
With help from a friend, I was able to find the key battle.
In case anyone wanted to fight minimum number of battles for unlocking this campaign, fight at the Crypt northeast of the Necromancer's Apprentice. |
The Apprentice holds a staff and stands in front of a statue.
You need only 16 out of 26 battles to win this campaign. |
