Hey guys i thought i heard a while ago alt dwarf would come this year,
is this correct or am i wrong on this?
Or did they come back on this statement? |
They said in an Interview (I think) that 1 Class would come per year.
IIRC TDE came in Summer 2016, so more than 1 year passed.
Let's wait till the end of 2017, Imo it should be really really soon, but who knows.

• Alt Dwarf – It will come soon. Maxim had nothing to share on what skills it might possess or other features of the class. No consideration has been given to when alt-tribal will be implemented. The focus is first and foremost on alt-dwarf.
I don't think it is confirmed that it will come this year. Either it will be very very soon as ipsen said, i.e. a week or so after the MT, or it would be next year.
Tribal will take quite a while though. |

| I think they seemed to hint it would be this year. A group of players put together suggestions on the alt-dwarf racial ability for the admins, as that was where they looked to be having trouble. I really hope they can get it done this year. |

| I think effecively giving it the same sort of skill, but with some different runes is probably best. I guess the conflict comes from whether to give them much magic, since generally they don;t tend to, yet fire magic mastery is meant to be a key feature of that race. I like some of the runes proposed above, like giving a stack poison for a turn, or having a fear attack. I think could make the tactics of playign with or against them interesting, though then probably more difficult to balance. As it is harpooners have a much better max damage than master spearmen, if stack numbers are anything similar to normal dwarf this would be quite nasty. Lots of potential to make a really interesting alt faction, though equally easy to make a very broken one. |

In the next event then i will get skill points for dwarves it seems that the new factions gonna be interesting
but tell me one thing what is gonna be alt for dwarvern ursery and brawlers
and even priests and dreadbanes?
But i personally think its gonna be damn op :P
and i dont think this faction is gonna have runes it will probably have some other unique racial ability which is gonna be very cool ^^ |

Interestingly enough they swapped red thane for the blue one. I don't think any other alt faction swapped creatures. |

Usually the insight tourney is held once the class has been introduced as playable from your castle. The event that precedes that, with the introduction to the class will probably be the enchants allowed event. |
