| If both parties agree on a price, is there a way to make a rollback official, like something in transfer log or an smsid, or is it always up to goodwill to actually do it (or not!)? | Just pm the seller about the price and if he says yes, "buy it and I will give rollback of x amount of gold", then you will have proof.
In this case, if the seller does not rollback then he would receive a penalty upon reporting.

In all of my experience, players tend to go through with rollback. Don't think there is any rule about it though, unless large sums are punishable I guess. | for Meshy:
Yeah, I never had trouble either and usually sums aren't that much anyway, but for expensive arts it can matter thus why I wanted to know if there can be a safeguard.
transfer log is better and easy
That would mean that transfer log (or mails) are binding but there's no such rule as far as I know, even if it is common practice to do it. | for Slust:
