enchanted group battles
I see little point in this, this is really imbalanced, the only enchanted PvP event we had (light VS dark) clearly showed it. | Hunts/MGs/duels are for low levels to build character + provide easy, cheap enjoyment to ensure player's game addiction.
The reasons that bonanza stops with higher levels are Psychologic + Financial: The game drives users towards a peer-to-peer, clan-to-clan socio-integration.
That is what keeps people hooked and paying into an online game: the social aspect of friendships and conflicts, player/clan-level (otherwise you could just install a similar game locally on your computer and play with the machine)
Discouraging easy/cheap resolutions of conflicts (combats/clan wars/clan taxes battles) has two aspect: 1) Financial/Monetary for game/admins, and 2) psychologic, increasing game addiction: once you fail you try with better weapons/enchants, trying to top your adversaries, thus feeding back into 1) above. | for Warlock naviron:
I think PvP is something that helps keeping a lot of players from leaving too.
But yeah as VV and you said, seems like it vaguely helps admins financially. Not a satisfactory answer at all but I guess not much can be done :(
