Author | "Keep me logged in" Option |
No idea regarding whether it has been suggested or not.
Won't change the game, but it'd be a small useful functionality.
So, I play from the Laptop and phone, and apparently Puffin keeps/remembers the window, and opens it when you open the App, so that you don't have to type "Lordswm.com" every time.
Thing is, there is no "Keep me logged in" option so that I don't have to write "Ipsen" and my password every single time I wanna enroll (IIRC account closes after 5 mins of inactivity?).
I'm not saying to remove the automatic logout thing, but to have the possibility to have the phone/laptop automatically enter in the account and profile page.option
An example: When you enter Hotmail/Gmail, device remembers password and automatically enters with the "Keep logged" option.
In here, it remembers password, but I still gotta be in Lordswm.com, and it'd be good to be instantly in profile page, since we gotta log in SO many times to enroll.
Idk whether I explained my point correctly, but this is more or less it. | There's one trick - Enter into chat and you won't be logged out.
It used to work before, probably should work now too. | chat closes automatically after a period of inactivity i think. | chat does, but tavern does not. Just stay on a tavern page, and you are set.
But once the app is closed, i think it's normal to have the cookie dismissed. It's far too dangerous for people to check the option, log out, then find their little bro/sis/cousin/other took the telephone and started tampering with a 5 years old account, getting it blocked for good..
I see the forums flooded with weeping requests to unblock accounts and recover lost stuff.
So, considering the rules of the game, i prefer not to have this option :) | It's far too dangerous for people to check the option, log out, then find their little bro/sis/cousin/other took the telephone and started tampering with a 5 years old account, getting it blocked for good..
I totally see your point, but I consider the option kind of "Mark at your own risk".
Other way more "Vital" things/websites have this feature (Hotmail, Facebook I think too) aswell.
Nobody would save his settings in a public computer cyber cafe, or university computer, no?
I suggest this because we login WAY too many times because of the enroll thing existing, that I dislike having to go through the login screen every time.
But I see n understand your point. | Don't new accounts have this already but only for the device they signed up on? |
