| I see a lot of elves with this talent . is there any hidden benefits im missing here? cause i think its waste of a talent as you can get basic offense rather which i think is more effective or is it not .. | +2 Attack, and like +9 Forests at your lvl (CE players correct me if Im wrong)...
I dont know, I honestly see it as such a waste of Talent points, Tbh.
Also I think in order to put it, you gotta get another step into Leadership, no?
There are sooo many things a CE could get (Like the Defence Tree, which many dont, or even Striving Speed, which I find WAY underrated), that I dont understand why.
And yes, Im also seeing Forest Brethren a lot lately.
Maybe its one of these "Trends" lately, people would just Copy others in CG sometimes.

When you have it you can take Retribution talent.
With +5 morale, it gives you +25% extra physical dmg. | I think it's worthwhile. It's a relatively cheap talent and the extra forest brethren makes a big difference because charmer elf has so few troops to begin with. Many people also take basic erudition at level 12 for the +3 parameters... that's not very different from the brethren commander talent.
A large portion of damage comes from sharpshooters so basic offense would not help there. Also, +2 attack is comparable to 10% extra damage (not as good but close) in PvP battles.
Vitality might be worthwhile, but I don't see much use from the defense tree other than that. The problem with striving speed is that you have to take three other offense talents before you can access it, which are slightly more expensive than the leadership tree. Other than that it seems good... I don't know why people don't use it. | For charmer elf high attack parameters are very important. The more attack you have, the more spell power can you accumulate. Of course, usage of this talent for certain levels is questionable, but for CL16 I like this talent a lot. It gives me 10 more forest brethens and as Dragon Eater mentioned, 2 attack can be comparable to basic offense talents (in case of the same attack and defense parameters of attacker and target what is common issue in PvP) and it is not only affecting meele units but shooters too.
For me there are +- 3 usable builds for chArmer for my level in CG (2x2) and one of those include this talent. I tested it only in few battles but I am very satisfied. | | closed by Lord Syrian (2018-01-19 06:28:07) |
