My imbued arrow with magic arrow deal only 55 damage to enemy fortune genies.
That's weird. Fortune genies has only 25% magic shield instead of 75%. |

Magic shield is 25% but immune to air too. Immune to air resist can be ignored from resistance from arts and imbue arrow talent, but magic guild shield is still active.
Other creatures you mentioned have only immunity to air, but genies have that + 25% magic shield additional. |

0.20 is by magic arrow talent
0.73 is by magic resist hero has.
I could calculate without taking in account of 75% magic resist of ginie.
Also I have not taken the faction resist in calculations.

My thought is:
(8*42+24)*0.2*0.76
taking 0.76 as 1-0.24 by the faction resist.
Also, 75% magic shield+immune to air+magic resist by arts of talent all add up no more than 100% immunity to magic.
So according to this calculation, the answer is 55.

| I havent done any calculations but since its a WG its based on past battles right? So whilst they have 25% shield now they didnt always have it so when that battle was played they had 75% shield and its stayed that way |

Actually only air elementals are immune to air out of that list, the rest are immune to lightning only.
I believe Bheem's calculation is correct - faction level 8 in resistance for CL 17 seems accurate. |
