Author | return gold? |
saw this guys transfer log,he likes to buy and sell alot, couldnt help but notice the return for sale of *insert artifact name* so i assume he bought something over the market price and is getting return for that.why does that happen? does it work other way around too? because i like to scan the market for cheap auctions, never thought i might have to pay anything back to someone |
i will obviously contact administration about this, but would like some quick answer here |
this guys
where? =) |
its not the point. he gets paid back by people he gets artifacts from, and in russian it says return for buying *artifact name* i want to know if that works both ways and if i shouldnt get stuff from auctions under market price if it does? |

if only i could find him again. why is it needed tho? guy buys something lets say 24k, after some time he gets 4k back from the seller, saying return for buying the *item name* |

Your topic is still very new (not in danger of getting archived) and already quite up (was second except pinned ones). Upping it isn't needed.
Also it would be helpful to see the whole picture. All we know is your version of things which may very well be a subset of what is needed to determine what is actually happening. It may not be enough to properly judge the situation and maybe most people don't really want to speculate. |
it is not the first time i seen it,but when a guy has 4 of these in a single transfer log page, makes me concerned |

What's the problem? They negotiate the price over PM? |
Probably this: he wants to buy an art from market, but at a discount / lower price. He contacts the seller, and if they agree on a price, he buys the art, and gets a partial refund. He gets his art immediately, and the seller gets his gold.
Rather common for rare / event arts. |
k. QNATC,gonna wait for admins reply to this. |
It happens because the two players will negotiate a price, it's fairly common practice for those who use the market.
It can work both ways round as long as both players negotiate and agree. If you buy an art for low the player cannot demand more gold. |
Meshy and dariel are right - this is common on .ru and it is completely legal. Admins are not going to answer your question. In the future please do not 'up' topics in queries and help, it can be cause for a ban. |
