Intellect wasn't really useful, expert sorcery would probably had been better. Or some offence/luck talent, I guess they're cheaper too these days.
Another possible way how to win is to increase initiative (using sandglass etc.), split dreadlords and attract dryads with 1 dread, so they come closer. Also u can use liches instead of polters and after 1st round 1 stack of dryads can be dead
How's it in an Easy difficulty AG battle I have to resort to rare artifacts (like sandglass)?
Couldn't imagine if it were hard difficulty.
As more people complete, AG gets harder and harder.

My battle from CL 14 as UN.
Medium Difficulty, Pirate Set.
Might not help you much, since you are 17, but maybe it does help.

I tell you though:
Why don't you have Offence or Luck as Talents?
Ever since their Talent point cost decreased, you'd rather pick them after Basic Erudition (IMO).
After Basic Erudition + Intellect, I'd say it's more "Efficient" to get Offence or Luck, and not further Erudition Talents.
My opinion...

Now all UNs get these in PvP for instance, after the buff to talent wheel.
(Sorry for double post).
If you wanna increase your chances, you may do the following:

- as i said, try expert luck (elf build i call it ) or offence :P serious.
Having them implies hitting them with like x1.3 your current power.
No reason to pick Expert erudition after luck got decreased from 12 to 10, and offence from 11 to 9 cost.
Just build UN as you'd build DE :P
Of course keep Nature talents n Intellect.

(Not if it denies you from having intellect tho, but i think you can with your many talent points)
- Spend more gold and play with a Great Captain Set.
that you don't use it for Campaign and lose as much explains a lot (Not trying to be rude, sorry if it sounds bad).
Think that the Auto balance is made by ppl who used Captain stuff probably, and you're doing it with "normal" things.

- Equip small stacks of Ghouls.
With these and Bone Dragon, you make them have -3 Morale.
Maybe they are too slow to catch up, though ...
And you do not need Liches for that battle, 2000 dryad will hit hard anyway even weakened. Use the free space for a small stack for retal maybe.

- very important, tactic/ strategy wise:
Rewatched battles again.
You chose in first turn to phantom any unit.
You'd better wanna Wait with hero, knowing that Dryad will hit soon.
By waiting, you can instantly raise after their attack.
What you did makes you begin battle with half your army.

attacking and killing is the second goal, not the first.
Enemy will slowly die, UN battles are long. Raise, don't phantom.
build UN as dark elf, but don't play like dark elf.
Don't get shut down fast, gotta out- heal their dmg

I'm a noob though))) but i love the class.
When I tried this campaign some battles took near 10 attempts of army reduce to barely finish with temporal/pirate sets. Some battles are insane hard. To complete it I still need to do 3 battles which all seems impossible for UN and can't be asked for it. Especially when after reducing amount of stars in wg/ag if you raise dead its not worth the effort.. Just my opinion
