I usually just close the browser window rather than click the logout link when I need to stop playing. How long does it take for the game to automatically log you out? I'm asking because I just noticed something strange in my combat log: 2018-02-23 12:11: Frontier trespassers vs Javi[15]
I know for a fact that I was NOT online at that time because that is 4 AM where I live. I was sleeping when I got ambushed and the game gave me an AFK loss.

I know it's not the answer to your question but I avoided that by just moving down on the map whenever I'm not actively looking for the Trespasser fights :/
I do the same when I "log out" and I'm guessing it's around 15 min or something close to that at least, haven't done any actual testing tho |
| Pretty sure its one hour, i often do this when enrolling on mobile, if I visit the site again in 55 minutes it will still be logged in and if I am late say 1 hour 5 it will be logged off |
it probably was much earlier than that, but the game sets the timeout after a given time of you being AFK.
So, when you enter a battle and go afk, it will wait quite some time before it "decides" that you won't come back. It is different if the game is timed, in that case you are afk after about 5 minutes since the game start (180 + 30x4 seconds), but this doesn't apply to single PVE fights, which i think make you afk after a few hours (don't remember if 4, 6 or 8).
In short: you were ambushed minutes after disconnecting, and if you had shown up again in the few hours that followed, you'd have been able to resume the game. |
