Author | How to Return from Auto Combat |
I was in a situation tonight where I had a disconnection mid battle. By the time my connection was restored, my participation was changed to auto combat mode. How do I turn this off when I get back?
Note: In this case it was highly frustrating as my team mates threw the game ( and I have reported them), but it makes me look bad too. Those chips will fall where it may. | The auto icon at the bottom of the screen (looks like a clock or something), if you click on that, it should give you control back.
You may need to click and reload the page though. | remember that on some computers, the flash applet will need to play all the moves it recorded before it takes a command into account. So you may see the game loading, and units move, without you being in control simply because those actions were already happening before you actually came back, but your browser just didn't have time to process them. So just wait patiently and Watch the clock tick until the button appears and your turn comes.
Also, allow me to say that reporting somebody in this situation isn't fair.
From his point of view, you left, the game was lost, no need to waste more time than needed to finish it.
When my team mates leave or if I see that the game cannot be won no matter what (like one stack of shooters with no arrows is all that is left against 1000's harpies, or something like that) I often suicide my troops too, so that I cam nove faster to something else.
Nothing to report there, if it isn't your ISP. | "From his point of view, you left, the game was lost, no need to waste more time than needed to finish it."
They both did this from the onset of the battle. What happened to me was near the end.
For example they delayed and went to auto control, and then the first move of auto control they returned control to themselves and started delaying all over again.
Big difference compared to what happened to me. |
