So the draw of doing all these events for imperial set is slowly losing its appeal to me, but we do what we must.
Assuming you didn't buy any pieces (so initial cost is 0..I'm slightly scared they will only do 3 events for us to get 2 rings.) and the rest of the pieces (no backpack) have a 36k repair cost.
We get a total repair cost of (36*8 + 60) * 1000 = 348,000 (351,480 at 100% costs and 1% transfer fee)
If we use this set to 0/0 we have a cpb of the entire set of 9.4k. This is quite expensive compared to other sets that are not enchanted.
Other costs are 5k at 0/64 and 7k at 0/28
So just what will people do with such an expensive set? I understand it will be an amazing set.. But limited use (pirate 2 vs 1 event for example.. but faction specific sets may be better for that..?)
I know of a few people who are enchanting it all to 5*12 for wars (jewels being an exception), but the cpb there is not something I want to think about.. |
I used the Amulet for some AG battles. Probably that. If I get the complete set, I'll wear the entire thing before logging off each time. I am an Imperial.
There will eventually be some event with no art restrictions but enchants don't work, that too. |

If these sets are good enough to make you excited, then unless your clan is the among the first ones to make use of it, your excitement will fade away :)

| Meshy you missed something important. Of course there is a cost price even if you don't buy any parts. It's the "cost" of not selling it. Taking a round value of 10k per 20 arts of each set, that's 450k for the entire set (50k per art). 450k isn't negligible so you should take that into account. |
Yes, it's called opportunity cost. :P
I decided to exclude that because once you have a piece of the set, you in essence can't sell it anymore (or am I wrong about that?). And tbh.. Since I'm getting all the pieces, to be blunt, I don't really care about those who are selling their pieces. :D |

Yep you're not the only one saying that to me :D
But in reality, I don't see myself ever paying 80k to repair it.
Although I will keep using armor, and later helmet too, after repairs, maybe at defenses. |

That's a good idea , but remember don't over use , it's just too damn costly to get it repaired..
But practically there's no use of it except in some yearly events , clan battles and AG , so maybe that's fair enough :D |

Well, I remember I calculated the CpB for fully enchanted set (jewels only A12E12) and it was around 9-12k, really not sure about it. But it is basically the same as you must pay now for war battles, isn't it? :)
But I didn't count it for full usage to 0/0, I doubt that it would worth it to repair so many times. Anyway, once you decide to fully enchant it for war purposes and use it only there, you should be satisfied with maybe 2k uses or no? :) |

Supposedly in war battles the clan funded the enchants while here you'd have to spend a few millions to get it all enchanted to maybe get some payback after a few hundred (thousand?) battles? |
| Sure, it is extremely expensive, but also it gonna be very rare to see fully enchanted imperial set I think. So if you are one of those who can afford it, you can maybe feel good and comfortable in war battles ;) and clan can still refund you, at least partially of course |
