When I bought it I was aware that I would have used it only for 28 fights because asking for repair would not have been worth.
Now it is time to press the "discard" button, but I wonder if I am overlooking anything... I do not know...
... maybe would some blacksmith-in-training offer something for it?
Should I make an attempt posting in the rare item trade forum? |
| I wouldn't bother. That artifact is not very valuable and the durability is low so it's not really worth repairing. |

I think it depends how much you spent on the artifact, if you spent more than the repair cost it will be better value if you get it repaired once by trainee smith.
Imagine a 30/30 art with 10k repair cost is on market for 9k
Without repair 9000/30 = 300 cpb
With repair at 60% efficiency (18/29) 15000/48 = 312.5 cpb
Now imagine that same artifact was bought for 12k
Without repair 12000/30 = 400 cpb
With repair at 60% efficiency 18000/48 = 375 cpb
So a saving has been made by getting it repaired in the second case, I do no however know how much you bought the artifact for :) |
Trash. The helmet had its glory days, now it's time to let younger and bolder helmet shine.
Usually smith don't like repairing (without profit) these arts even those willing to train because they are very expensive to repair. You would have more luck with cheap stuff like medal of bravery or such. |
Wait... I do not mean that I want that somebody repairs the helmet for me, I want to get rid of it! I do not need it because I found a better deal
Sorry if I was confusing.
I saw somebody selling 0/X artifact, so I wondered if somebody would take it for a negligible price, e.g. just to train blacksmith - afaik points earned depend only on the gold spent, so you get 2 points if you repair an item for 8000 gold or if you repair many items whose repair costs to to 8000. The former is faster
For example, a blacksmith with repair efficiency 50% can get these 2 points spending 8000 gold (+ the purchase from me) and then getting something back selling the repaired 14/27 object on the market.
Probably it is more common to repair for others at discounted fee, but the effect looks the same to me...
Anyway I will just try for a while, no inventory space problem at the moment |
