It makes for quick battles but it did not turn to be very interesting, whoever gets to shoot first or gets procs on shooters wins.
that's not really true. You can shoot after and still win. With 5 luck and 5 morale, everyone is bound to get triggers often, and instead of begrudging opponents perfect luck, you can try to make the best use of yours. | I don't remember whining on my loss out of 3 battles. The other 2 were a cakewalk because it highly favors whoever moves first, ie. gremlins that can outshoot even goblins with luck unlike what happens without the luck. I would not mention either that right now my DE did not setup and locked his shrews in the corner and that I did not say anything about it if you did not go out of your way.
I'm not sure what's hard to understand that with 5 luck and 5 morale there's a 25% chance for no proc, 50% for one proc and 25% for luck + morale and that the difference beetween the 25% no proc and the 25% double proc is losing badly or overwhelming victory, basicaly dishing out 3 to 4 times the usual base damage output in 1.5 turn and denying the ennemy its range power. I'm the kind of guy who does not play with luck because I find it makes games too random, here over-emphasizing the importance of shooters levels strategy down even more in my view.
Feel free to disagree and think it is perfectly balanced and fun but don't try to read through wathever I wrote to put in my mouth words that I did not write. | Well well. So it is not interesting. Carry on telling us that, not that it changes anything. Its interesting as heck to me. That's all i wanted to say. | closed by Meshy (2018-08-06 00:01:49) |
