Hi, i just did a battle with caravan of dark elves and it seems like termagants weren't favored though I've picked them in castle.

Due to recent changes in the mechanics of how critical hit works, elf is now significantly less effective in TG.
This is because the hero in TG is classic dark elf, so your favoured enemy is actually shrews, not termas (subtle difference). |

Mainly TG, reason being, enemy hero will always be classic (even if he has alt units).
For example, if you have ogre magi set favored on your classic barb, then if you face a shadow barb in wg who had ogre magi, that ogre magi will NOT be favored (because the hero is not classic barb but shadow) |

Btw, I find funny how something that was meant to be a Buff, ended up being a Disadvantage for Elves.

| Its not a bug but its not a feature either. This is simply miscoded I guess. The code works the way it is supposed to (thus not a bug) but it causes an unwanted feature. |

Actually, this thing happened only quite recently, before this all the alternates got the crit even with classic factions, so is it safe to say that this is intentional? |
think i raised the question already and the response was

Before the elf crit update, elves could crit alt creatures ( the update came later than the creatures)
