Like in Whatsapp, when you write '**' before an after a sentence, it becomes more thick and black. In other places/websites too.

It will be possible since they use it in the announcement messages, just need to know the coding for it.
Since quote uses square brackets trying that out

The forum encodes any html/javascript from our posts. It never reaches the database in a state that, when rendered back, could produce anything of that sort.
Admins however seem to have a way to post raw html. Probably the interface from where they post announcements. That's how they can create bold text or insert images. |

I asked, since it would be nice to be able to 'Highlight' some stuff in specific Posts, to make it more 'Eye-catching/easier to read'.
