There is a solution for that. If you know what I mean...
Perhaps now that the set up is known and how rewards work, perhaps clans will start rewarding for participation, or those less active may become more so for the event. Certainly those who had no troops to resurrect now at least have some good ones. Infiltrators and invaders provide a pretty stable basic for those who may not have hitherto done anything. Means they should be able to do the LeG 1 battles on auto for a pretty low cost.
I think it is nice to reward all clan members, no matter what proportion of contribution was. Most likely there will be more similar events to follow, so it is nice to stimulate all members to at least try to make team effort. Since first 100 clans got reward, ok first 10 or even 20 will be hard to get, but if you consider fact that largest on mass (tons) aren't mammals and they have on their side elephants and whales but bugs similar reasoning comes to mind. It is better that 200+ warriors make it to level 15, rather than 10 make it to level 50, and others nothing. So mass involvement is in a long term better. Obviously top clans will be way ahead of others but still... Higher server activity, free bonus parts, new creatures, new creative levels, for reasonable levels like 15, don't have to spend a single coin, instead can make even profit, hey win&win all over for any lord it this realm. As something completely new of course it is in a way room for complaining, so even free bonus on that part as well like Meshy adequately put (mother of all whining about bad luck examples) :)
this event u had to be lv3 /4 to make it to 50 and have the best troops tmposible for the avarage player i bet the nix time they will adjust it to 4/5/6 jst to screw the avarage player non top 10 mc

this whole LG feels like one big gold trap
It is only a gold trap if you let it. If you want to be the best, then it costs. However being just good need not. Level 1-20 or so should have been pure profit on every battle, and doable on LeG 2 for sure. LeG 2 itself is possible by having just done the level 1 LeG battles every day. Neither of those are gold traps. Especially since it is possible to have got decent enough LeG troops fighting only in battles that have no net cost or are profitable. It does however presuppose a certain level of activity, this I do not think unreasonable. I can say this with confidence as it is exactly what I have done.

Getting to level 25 should about break even on their own, but would still expect to be in profit from the gains in the earlier levels.

Breaking level 30 is hard, and realistically only doable with the right troops, strategy and probably LeG 3.

Having the right troops is combined with the right strategy. Eith the right strategy you have more scope for using sub par troops, with the right troops you have more chance of winning without the right strategy. I think that it was probably doable with only common troops if LeG3, and possibly at LeG 2 with the right troops. That being said, not easily and only after some testing to work things out.

If gold is a problem, do LeG 1 level battles and then after a bit as you progressively get more LeG levels and troops it should break even or even be in profit. If you want to push faster, then it is costly, though that is a free choice any of us make.
Don't understand how come its a gold trap.
This guild gives no bonus, just +1% init at LeG9, can be ignored.. better just increase 1 TG level.

Don't like it, avoid it or just play it casually with auto ( like I do too ). Its not like you'll have weak character if you ignore this guild.
