You hit him first with a 78 sized stack causing 78 poison damage. Your second shot was with 75 sized stack. If you shoot a poisoned stack with a smaller poisoner stack, it would have to remove stronger poison to apply weaker, game doesnt do that.
The turn 75 Poisoners shot orcs, they still were poisoned for 78 damage, with 0.1 dura remaining. Since new poison is technically weaker, its not applied. Next turn the original poison wore off and thus no damage.
