Nope it's built in this way now to avoid the classic gargoyles in the corner hunt strategy. They let the stronger stack of large creature attack cornered creatures. |

I remember assisting a DE hunting a huge number of hydras. He kept asking me to help reduce one of the stacks to just one hydra. I finally discovered why. His shrews got in the corner with that hydra attacking the shrews. The shrews tore the rest of the hydras to pieces.
I guess that strategy won't work any more. |

I have noticed as well that the smaller stacks seem to move away to make place for the bigger stacks.
