I would like to know whether spell power actually increases the power of spells which a charmer elf main character can cast.
I know the power of the spell (for example lightning) increases with turns until a limit.
But suppose my char stats are 0 spell power and next game I increase it to 7 spell power.
will the base damage increase ?
Or is the spells by a charmer elf lord of same intensity despite the spell power that I invest on? |
| Increasing spell power would increase the starting damage of your spells but putting those stats in attack instead would mean final maximum spell power would be equal. But instead by putting it into attack you get extra knowledge and troop damage |
The power of your spells directly depends on your spell power, it isnt as big as chaos mages tho, because you dont have any chaos talents, so its a lightning thats not even basic chaos magic.
If you do invest in SP, yes your spells will get stronger by that sp. But if you get SP at the cost of attack, its not worth it cause as merlin said, SP is direcrly dependant from your Attack parameter.
Remmember, the spell damage is directly dependant on your current spell power. |
| Starting with enough SP will allow you to cast good lightnings from the 1st turn. It's sometimes useful, like when you need to start clearing T7 stacks off the bat (happens in some WG errands, for instance). Some mage arts will also give a boost to your hero's ini, so there's that extra efficiency too. |
