| I notet something interesting new in cards game..entrance you need to pay like it was..(tournament games)..if you win first..you get some money...and its become biger after every win...Its nice..but i didn notest..if you loose..did you also loose same money what your oponent win in chalenge with you? |
| This does sound like an unannounced change. It used to be that only semifinalists, semifinalists, and winners get prizes, but now it seems that every victory earns you some money. To compensate, the winner's total earning is now less than before (10,500 if I added correctly). Winner's pot used to be 18,000. |

| Some of the gold from tournament used to end up in Empire's pocket, I would be curious to know how much the new reward compares to the old one (is Empire's share bigger now?). |

It's easy to calculate:
First round: 32*167 = 5344
Second round: 16*333 = 5328
Third round: 8*667 = 5336
Quarterfinal: 4*1333 = 5332
Semifinal: 2*2667 = 5334
Final: 5333
Total prize money: 32,007
Previous Days of Gambling awarded 18K to the winner, 6K to the finalist, and 3K the remaining two semifinalists, for a total of 30K. So the new prize allotment system pays out more.
Note that Days of Gambling paid only half the gold that other days paid for a 6-round tournament. I assume that's still the case with the new system. |
