How to know number of poison turns?

AuthorHow to know number of poison turns?
Sometimes it works for two turns, sometimes three.
I generally want to shoot those creatures with poisoners who'll maximally take poison damage.
As per description it is 2 turns, do you have any reference when it happened for 3 turns ?

Thrice on lorekeepers.
Depends on talent level, for genies its 4 turns
Not decay, when poisoned by a poisoner morale also can have effect
Yeah i read the title and not the actual post until after i replied, that will teach me!
for The One Ring:
It's was casted for 2 full turns of the poisoners, look like lorekeeper got 3 turns during this duration and got damage 3 times.

If you want to inflict more damage thru poison then shoot living creatures with high initiative or morale.
I may be a little confused here, but when you shot the lorekeeper it said duration is 2 turns.

Is there a chance you're mixing up duration and troop moves?

What I'm saying is that the poison struck thrice on lorekeepers. The goal is to maximize that number in general.
Yeah, because lorekeepers had 3 moves in that 2 duration of poison.

If you want to maxmise the number of times a troop is hurt by poison, then you just hit the highest initiative troop and they'll get hurt every time they move.

To know how many times a troop will be struck by poison, you have to look at their ini and morale and go for the one with highest ini / morale, no way you can know for sure given morale proc is random.
Perhaps me being a noob, is the 2 turns if duration those of the target or of the troops that did the poisoning? The implication from this thread is that it is based on the latter. As such a troop that poisons enemies with s low initiative is more likely to get 3 turns off poison impact than one with high initiative.
What I mean by this is that poisonous with initiative of 11 are more likely to cause an enemy to receive 3 turns of poison damage than poisoners with initiative 12.
for Lord MilesTeg:
It's two turns of the poisoners(caster) and yes lower initiative poisoners have alittle better chance of dealing more damage. However it also depends on targets initiative and morale.
Murali: It's two turns of the poisoners(caster)...
I thought the duration was always calculated with the base initiative of 10. The initiative of both caster and target is not affecting the time. However, the target might take damage more times if it got a high initiative, and also if the target get it's turn soon after poison is cast.
I thought the duration was always calculated with the base initiative of 10.

I thought so too, but I watched the battle again, and I think he's right. The poisoners, after shooting at lorekeepers, got three more turns (one regular and two morale). The poison expired right after that (two full turns without morale). Since the poisoners' initiative was 15.1, that would be only ~1.5 ATB rounds, not 2 rounds.
Its 2rounds fot that creature. If you wait or get morales itz 0.5round so if you wait theoretically you can lose hp 4times.
Poision is applied for 2rounds for that troops ini not atb scale 10( I consider as mid point cause spells last on that scale.) Poision is poision not spell. Keep that in mind
