Everyone has a vice. Perhaps, only a newborn can be pure. The only question is in how you treat your defects. Some struggle all life with them, others do their bidding. But can you use vice for a better cause? Advisor Fyyorlis was one those few, who had been able to find the answer to this question long before. However, even all that “dark” experience that lay behind the bony shoulders of the necromancer couldn’t help him to make a full picture of the crime. Not so long ago, the Imperial defenders crushed the whole pirate horde, and now the handful of gangster gangs has managed not only to ruin several villages, but also to occupy the Imperial Fortress and hold it for several days. And the moment the main forces of the Empire came close, these bastards disappeared. Obviously, someone had to help or at least inform them. But who and what’s their motive? A trivial call of vice or a secret game with concrete goal? How many more dark secrets are hidden behind the smiling masks of the regulars of the imperial court? Fyyorlis, perhaps, should look closer into the cuts of their vicious eyes.
Meanwhile, each Hero who accepted pirates’ invitation and overcame defenders of combat level 12 has received a secret package and an anonymous note:
"Good job, mate! Can leave in time. Hope you’re happy with your cut, aren’t ya? Here’s a small present. make sure you don’t leave it to dust. Take care and be well!"
