| I would summon harpies to begin with rather than spiders. They will do the savage while you stay out of trouble with your Minos. Take out troops with high initiative and movement first ( ie leave zombies till last) |
I'd take elf or tribal if i were you to have good shooters to keep the high ini troops downed asap
Forget about skeletons and zombies as their damage is low. Take out knights first then apparitions. |

I believe this is campaign and can't change factions.
The easy and obvious answer is to just take better arts, a pirate captain set for example will make this combat a doddle.
The other option to do as Miles said, perhaps tweak your talents a bit to take more morale / offence rather than a basic defence. |
Basic defense and basic erudition can be replaced , you can try mass delay (will work well with pirate set ;) )
And yes go with harpies! |

Thank you all . Your suggestions were really helpful.. i didn't have magic guild 2 when I first engaged that army. But this time with harpies , it was piece of cake.
